SPECIAL ADOPTION / Silvia is searching for a new home as an only cat! Silvia was found at a stable when she was approximately six weeks old in 2024. Katja, a Finn living in Cyprus, took Silvia into her foster care and asked for our help in homing her. Silvia came to Finland and straight to her home when she was a year old, spayed, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV in September 2025. Now two years old and named Kerttu by her first home Silvia is a social, active, brave and curious girl. Silvia is a lapcat, who greets both people she knows and those she doesn't at the door, participates in everyday home activities and likes leash walks. Silvia is however also stubborn, particular about her boundaries and socially awkward; she tends to communicate with people by biting when she for example wants food and thinks she's had enough of attention. Because of this Silvia is searching for an adult only, cat experienced home that would be ready to consistently train her out of this habit. Silvia doesn't like other cats or dogs, so she will go as a single cat. Because of her behavioral issue Silvia is a special adoption and her expense compensation lowered. Silvia is waiting for her new home in her previous one in Vantaa where she's ready to meet her new people and forever home.

Spice and his brother Pumpkin were born to a mother who was still a kitten herself and didn't know how to take care of her babies. The kittens got tangled in their umbilical cords and only Spice and Pumpkin survived. The back paw of Spice had to be amputated when he was only two days old. Now a little over four months old the boys are full of love. Affectionate, playful and adventurous. They will come to Finland and a home or homes of their own neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV on the 20th of October. Can be adopted together or separately to homes where an existing cat friend is waiting.

Hermione is searching for a home! Hermione was found crying alone at a construction site on the 16th of May when she was barely three months old. One of her back legs was broken and had to be fixed immediately despite her weighing only 850g. Luckily the surgery went well and Hermione has been a healthy girl ever since. Now a little over six months old Hermione is very cat oriented and follows her foster siblings everywhere. Hermione prefers the older more calm cats the most and would likely be the perfect company for someone like this in her own home as well. She hasn't been very interested in humans so far and is a bit shy with strangers, but is still manageable. Hermione will came to Finland and foster care in Kerava spayed, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV on the 24th of September. Can be adopted to befriend another cat or with another one of our organization's cats.

Kevin is searching for a home together with Benny! Kevin was abandoned in one of the colonies we feed between the age of five and six weeks. Old enough to eat on his own, but way too small to survive alone, so Marina took him in the moment she saw him on the 12th of July 2023. Kevin came to Finland and foster care in Kerava dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV on the 29th of September and has been neutered after. Kevin found a home in October 2023 but was returned to the organization in June 2026 after his family's life situation changed. In September 2026 Kevin was adopted together with his new best friend Benny but both were returned less than two weeks later. Now three years old Kevin is a sweet and affectionate boy who especially likes wand toys and gets along great with other cats. His eyes can get a bit dry so he gets moisturizing drops daily and a checkup at the vet yearly. One of his eyes had an entropion surgery done on in Finland, so this doesn't bother him anymore. 

Benny is searching for a home together with Kevin! Benny was abandoned at our feeding spot at the park in November and after being sick and treated there twice he was finally taken off the streets when he was four months old on the 20th of December. Now ten months old Benny wants to be loved so much, but can be a bit of a shy boy in the beginning. With people he knows Benny is so affectionate that he will arch his back from joy simply from being talked to in a kind voice. Benny is searching for a calm home where he would be understood and given time to gather his courage. At the vet he can be fearful, but is managed easily with kindness, no gloves needed. Benny came to Finland and straight to his home neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV on the 24th of February, but was returned to the organization in June to search for a calmer home. In September 2026 Benny was adopted together with his new best friend Kevin but both were returned less than two weeks later. 

Scarlett is searching for a home! Scarlett was found by accident under a bush when our friend Victoria was trying to search for a kittens of a mother she had seen on the 21st of July 2025. When found Scarlett was six weeks old, ice cold despite the heat, severely malnourished and full of parasites. It took several days from Victoria to get the girl even eating herself. Scarlett's eyes were infected and one had to be removed later on. Now a little over a year-old Scarlett is a smart, active, playful and affectionate girl. She came to Finland and to foster care in Kerava spayed, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV on the 24th of May. Scarlett found a home at the end of July but was returned to the organization two months later. Can be adopted to befriend another cat or with another one of our organization's cats.
